I am Getting Error Message Ancestry User is Authenticated
If you are getting this error message Ancestry user is authenticated, don’t worry this is common issue and can be solved easily. Below are some methods to fix this issue.
Multiple Ancestry Accounts:
If you have multiple Ancestry account, try logging out from all of them and then logging back into your specific account you want to use.
Network Issues:
Sometimes it is noticed that there is temporary network issue is causing trouble. In that case you need to wait for few hours and then try back.
Update your Family Tree Maker:
Check your family tree version if you are using FTM 2019 with version 24.1 then there is need to update with version 24.2. Click here to update.
Disable Two Step Verification:
Try disabling two step verification. Now how to disable two step verification in FTM?
- Login to your ancestry account.
- Go to my profile.
- Under my profile you will see two step verification.
- Click on disable.
- It will ask for confirmation.
- Once process is done you will be able to login to family tree app.
